Design and Implementation of 24-Channel High Speed Data Acquisition and Correlation Processor

Digital correlation processor is the key equipment for synthetic aperture radiometers. It uses interference processing technology to receive and process the signals received by the array antenna, obtaining the visibility function of the target detection area, and providing effective data support for the remote sensing applications of synthetic aperture radiometer in military, meteorological, water conservancy, ocean and other detection fields. For application requirements, this report designs a 24-channel high-speed acquisition correlation processor and provides a detailed design and explanation of the composition and implementation of the correlator. Based on the synthetic aperture radiometer system, the developed correlator is tested and verified for interference fringes. The test results show that the correlation processor can correctly collect remote sensing signals with the correlation degree of 0.9999. The correlation processor can generate interference fringes correctly with good phase consistency and phase error less than 2.6 degrees, which can assist the radiometer system in realizing synthetic aperture imaging applications.
