An AI-Native Architecture for Intent-Driven Management and Orchestration in 6G Networks

Emerging 6G technologies and diverse use cases necessitate dynamic and efficient resource optimization beyond traditional network capabilities to meet escalating performance demands. The 6G-INTENSE project addresses these challenges through an AI-driven solution for zero-touch slice optimization, proactively enhancing network slice performance via novel orchestration capabilities and pervasive AI intelligence termed Native AI. In complex multi-stakeholder and multi-domain "network of networks" scenarios inherent in 6G, this requires a Distributed Intent Management and Orchestration (DIMO) paradigm to manage the unprecedented scale and heterogeneity of involved orchestration domains intelligently.
