Optimization Configuration of Multi-Sources Capacity for Independent Industrial and Mining Microgrid

With the rapid development of new energy, the microgrid has become a key technology to solve the problem of industrial and mining load power supply in remote areas. However, the multi-source capacity configuration of microgrid needs to consider the natural resources and load characteristics of the area to be planned, and involves many factors such as power grid technology and economic benefits. In view of this, this paper proposes a coordinated configuration scheme of multi-source capacity for independent microgrids to meet the power demand of industrial and mining loads. Firstly, considering the natural factors such as wind speed and light, a micro-source mathematical model considering wind power, photovoltaic (PV) and diesel generators is established. Based on this, considering the multi-dimensional constraints of microgrid, a multi-source capacity configuration optimization model of industrial and mining microgrid with optimal system comprehensive operation cost is constructed. Finally, an example simulation analysis is carried out based on the actual data of a microgrid in a certain area of Tibet. The results show that the proposed optimal configuration scheme can economically meet the power demand of industrial and mining loads, and effectively improve the system power supply reliability and new energy consumption capacity.
