Design and Parametric Analysis of Dual Band Slotted Volumetric Antenna Loaded with DGS for Sub-6GHz Applications

This paper presents dual-band volumetric antenna for Sub- 6 GHz applications. The proposed antenna is designed using Ansys HFSS tool by Rogers RT/Duroid 5880 substrate with dimensions of $54.32 * 66.23 * 0.787 \text{mm}^{3}$. The applied DGS (Defective Ground Structure) technique enhances gain above 5 dB and observed dual band response at 3.19 GHz and 3.62 GHz with $\mathrm{S}_{11}$ below -10 dB by utilizing a U slot structure.
