On the Effectiveness of Formative Assessment Method Assisted by Artificial Intelligence in College Education: Taking “Cultivation of Ethics and Fundamentals of Law” Course as an Example

Although formative assessment has been widely applied in higher education, the traditional formative assessment method has many drawbacks. In teaching practice, the author combined the modular thematic design on blended learning models and introduced AI tools into the formative assessment of the “Cultivation of Ethics and Fundamentals of Law” course. Practice has shown that AI assisted formative assessment has a significant effect on improving students' academic level and learning quality.
