Circular Antenna Array Optimization using Marine Predator Algorithm

In modern communication systems including 5G networks, Internet of Technology and beam forming technologies, circular antenna array or CAA serves as crucial elements. Suppressing side lobe levels (SLL) in the radiation pattern is a major antenna design challenging that is essential for reducing signal interference while improving system performance. In order to overcome this issue, the Marine Predator Algorithm (MPA) is used in this work to optimize beam patter synthesis for nonuniform CAA. By using this known method, strive to suppress the peak SLL and also FNBW of the array consisting of 8,10,12 elements by optimizing amplitude current (I) and inter-element spacing (d). The analysis of both fixed and variable circumference, using inter-element spacing to improve directivity and reduce SLL is the novel feature of this study.
