An Analytical Study of Impact of AI on Employment

Global workforce has been transformed by Artificial Intelligence (AI), henceforth a challenge as well as an opportunity for employees and organizations. The potential of AI to enhance productivity and foster innovation is clear. This research explores the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on employment, focusing on key factors such as awareness, perceptions, skill adaptation, future perspective and skills to counter the challenges of AI. The study examines how AI-driven transformations influence job roles, employee preparedness, and organizational strategies for workforce development. The study engages a cross-sectional research design to examine the factors affecting the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on employment. The data collection was administered through a controlled questionnaire designed to capture key aspects such as awareness, perceptions, skill adaptation, and future outlooks regarding AI's role at the workplace. Finally, a regression equation was formulated to establish a relationship between factors affecting impact of AI on employment. The outcomes of the research exposed that the positive future perspective of AI is the only factor which is affecting the Employment. The research underscores the need for organizations to provide support through training programs, mentorship, and flexible work arrangements to help employees adapt to AI integration. The study contributes to understanding AI's multifaceted impact on employment and offers actionable recommendations for employees and organizations to prepare for the future of work.
