Research on Air-blast Arc Quenching Method Based on Precision Measurement and Control

In low-voltage AC electrical systems, the safe operation of electrical circuits and equipment requires the rapid extinguishing of arcs. The mechanism and application research of gas blowing out arc as an efficient arc extinguishing method are of great significance. This article analyzes various arc extinguishing techniques and principles, designs a simulation model of gas blowing out the arc, records the relationship between the diameter of the jet nozzle, air pressure, and jet velocity, proposes an active gas blowing out arc strategy, and observes the arc extinguishing advantages of this strategy through experiments. The research results indicate that the active arc extinguishing method proposed in this paper can significantly improve the arc extinguishing effect, providing theoretical support for the design and optimization of low-voltage electrical equipment and ensuring the safe and stable operation of power systems.
