Unlocking the Future of Financial Analysis: AI Meets Bloomberg

The mastery of financial markets requires both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, along with access to real-time market data through advanced industry tools such as the Bloomberg Terminal. However, the complexity of these tools often poses challenges for novice users. This paper presents a solution in the form of a web-based application that integrates Bloomberg Terminal API functionality with artificial intelligence, specifically Anthropic’s Claude model, using the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Developed using Python (Flask framework) and Firebase, the system offers secure user authentication, personalised learning pathways, and real-time access to historical and current financial data across various asset classes. Claude AI contextualises financial information and delivers adaptive content tailored to individual learning needs. This approach simplifies complex financial analysis for educational purposes and fosters students’ practical competence in navigating financial markets using professional-grade tools.
