Considering the low-carbon optimal scheduling of hybrid energy storage in the park

To address the growing complexity of multi-energy interactions in integrated energy systems aligned with carbon neutrality objectives, this study introduces a cost-effective and eco-friendly operational approach incorporating hybrid electric-hydrogen storage. A hydrogen storage framework is developed based on energy flow dynamics. Accounting for photovoltaic generation and demand fluctuations, the model minimizes both operational expenses and penalties for carbon emissions. The solution is implemented using Yalmip and CPLEX within the Matlab environment. Findings indicate that the strategy can reduce operating costs by about 13%, reduce carbon emissions by about 22%, and improve energy efficiency by about 1.6%, effectively enhancing the flexibility and economy of the system.
