A study of the development framework followed to integrate the Shopify SDK in an iOS app, built using SwiftUI

This paper aims to provide a framework that industry practitioners can use to build their iOS apps using the services provided by Shopify’s iOS SDK. It dives deeply into the Application Architecture by discussing the MVVM design pattern and its implementation with the iOS application. The iOS app, as proposed in the paper, is built using SwiftUI, a declarative UI framework. The paper assumes the reader has an intermediate knowledge of mobile application development. The study discusses GraphQL and its instrumental role in fetching data from Shopify’s services. It proposes a \textbf{data communication mechanism} within the application, facilitating data flow from data repositories to the ViewModels.
