Analysis Proposal for Insulating Parts of Oil Transformers Using Frequency Dielectric Spectroscopy

The aim of the article was to use the problem of analyzing the insulation state of oil transformers using frequency domain spectroscopy (FDS) methods. The article compares the insulation states of five different transformers with a power of 630, 1000 and 10,000 kVA, where the water in the paper part and the relative conductivity in the oil part of the machine is analyzed. The article prefers the analysis of the frequency dependence of the capacitance size and the ratio of two capacitances to the analysis of the loss factor. The advantages and disadvantages of the above procedure in analyzing the measurement results using the FDS method are demonstrated.
