Bionic Butterfly Design Driven By Servo

Flapping-wing aircraft has outstanding maneuverability due to its unique bionic principle, but it also has the disadvantages of being too heavy, The lift generated during flapping is insufficient and the overall structure is not stable enough. This paper proposes a design of a bionic butterfly flapping-wing aircraft based on a servo drive. Carbon fiber rods and textile composite fabrics are used to reduce the weight of the body, and the flapping frequency and amplitude are optimized by combining the servo dynamics model, and real-time control is achieved through PPM signal remote control. Through the integration of lightweight design, bionic wing dynamics analysis and efficient control system, the stable flight of the flapping-wing aircraft is achieved, and the flight mode is consistent with the movement mode of butterfly flight. The experimental results show that the bionic butterfly has stable flight and flexible change of direction, which verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of the design.
