Mathematical Modeling of Sex Ratio Variation Based on the Lotka-Volterra and SIR Models

As scientific research continues, the level of understanding of dynamical systems will determine our ability to predict and manage complex interacting systems. We introduce adaptive scaling based on the Lotka-Volterra model and address the quantitative analysis of the impact of changes in its scaling on dynamic systems. The model is then extended to introduce system carrying capacity and extra-system influences to further assess the impact of adaptive changes in dynamic systems on system stability. Finally, the SUSCEPTIBLE-INFECTED-RECOVERED Model was used to address the quantitative analysis of the impact of adaptive sex ratio changes on parasite transmission within dynamic systems. Studies addressing such adaptive sex ratio changes are important for understanding individual-environment interactions in dynamic systems. It was found that dynamic systems with adaptive sex ratio changes are more stable and more favorable to the development of individuals within the system.
