A Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Approach for Cat Breeding Matchmaking Using AHP and the Gale-Shapley Algorithm

The research proposes an enhanced algorithm for cat paring for cat mating purposes. The study aims to help the owner to find appropriate mating for their cat. The important factors were collected and analyzed from the owners of cats in the cat community. It found that the vaccination status, residence, rearing system, pedigree certificate, fur color, and eye color are the six important factors that the owners were focused. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was chosen to analyze the weight of each factor. After that, the Gale-Shapley algorithm was applied for matching the most appropriate pair of cats. The findings showed that the algorithm performed reliable outcomes, generating stable and suitable matches. It indicates considerable promise for adapting the approach to this challenge.
