Highly sensitive pulse sensor based on fiber optic micro-ring for real-time monitoring of human exercise

A pulse diagnostic device based on all-fiber optic structure is proposed for real-time monitoring of human exercise. The device accurately monitors pulse changes before and after exercise. In addition, by analyzing the relationship between the pulse waveform feature K and exercise frequency of 100 volunteers, it was found that the K value is negatively correlated with exercise frequency. This indicates that exercise can effectively improve vascular elasticity and reduce peripheral resistance.
