MoveMentor: Non-Contact Method for Presentation Navigation

In recent years, the demand for intuitive and non-contact interfaces has grown, particularly in the realm of presentation navigation. This paper introduces a novel method for controlling presentations using hand gestures, eliminating the need for physical contact with input devices. Utilizing advanced computer vision techniques, our system accurately tracks and interprets hand movements to perform standard presentation functions such as slide navigation, annotation, and media control. Extensive testing on various lighting conditions and user scenarios revealed an average accuracy of 93% for gesture recognition. Potential applications extend beyond presentations to include educational settings, business meetings, and interactive public displays.
