Design of a PLC-Based Moisture Control System for Bamboo Pelletizing Equipment for Fuel Production

Aiming at the moisture control issue of raw materials in bamboo pelletizing equipment, this paper proposes a PLC-based moisture control system for bamboo pelletizing equipment for fuel production, designed to dynamically adjust the moisture content of raw materials during the pelletizing process. The system consists of a drying device, a moisture detection device and a humidity adjustment device. The humidity adjustment device uses an infrared online moisture meter to detect moisture, with a host computer monitoring and controlling the moisture levels, to address the moisture regulation problem in bamboo pelletizing fuel production equipment. Taking into account the control requirements of the system, the allocation of I/O ports has been confirmed, and the PLC model FX3U-24MT has been selected. The PLC system's overall program is structured into two operational modes:manual control program and automatic control program. The system can regulate the moisture content of the raw materials, enabling the equipment to produce better quality pellets, and promoting the development of bamboo pelletizing fuel production equipment towards a more efficient, environmentally friendly and economical direction.
