An intelligent early-warning system for elevator car Overhead and Bottoming collisions

In response to the frequent occurrences of elevator overhead collision and Bottoming collision, this paper designs an intelligent early warning device based on Time-to-Collision (TTC) parameters combined with acceleration, velocity, and position warning criteria. The system conducts non-intrusive intelligent monitoring and early warning for elevator operational status related to overhead and Bottoming collision scenarios. This innovation demonstrates significant practical application value by effectively preventing elevator collision accidents while providing maximum protection for both passengers and equipment safety.
