Error Registration Algorithm Based on High Precision Geodetic Coordinate Information and Cooperative Platform

This paper addresses the issue of target tracking trajectory deviation caused by sensor system errors in aerial moving platforms during patrol and reconnaissance missions. To resolve this, a single-platform error registration method based on high-precision geodetic coordinate information and cooperative platforms (HPGCI-CP) is proposed. By constructing a coordinate transformation model, deriving the pseudo-measurement equation for system errors, and designing multi-dimensional simulation experiments to compare the tracking accuracy of different methods, the performance of the proposed approach is validated. Experimental results demonstrate that, under typical scenarios, the tracking accuracy of this method outperforms traditional approaches. Notably, it exhibits stronger robustness against attitude angle system errors and sensor azimuth random errors, while remaining less sensitive to the position of the observation platform and the motion state of the cooperative platform. This work provides a new pathway for single platforms to independently complete error registration.
