Overview of transformer safety risk assessment

As a key device in the power system, the safe operation of transformers is directly related to the reliability and stability of the entire power system. This paper presents a review on transformer safety risk assessment, elaborating on the background and significance of research in this area. It also sorts out the general development process of the field of transformer safety risk assessment and details the assessment technologies, including Bayesian networks, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), the Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method, etc. Meanwhile, by using literature organizing tools such as CiteSpace and VOSviewer to analyze multiple literatures on transformer safety risk assessment, visual maps are generated. These maps not only demonstrate the important position of the field of transformer safety risk assessment within the realm of transformer research but also highlight its relevance to other fields and technologies. Finally, the paper points out the problems existing in current research on transformer safety risk assessment and further proposes future research directions and challenges, aiming to provide references for further studies in the field of transformer safety risk assessment.
