With the progressive advancement of power sector reforms, grid operators face escalating demands in operational efficiency, service quality, and tariff optimization. The rapid infrastructure expansion and exponential growth in electrical apparatus have precipitated significant capital investments in smart grid technologies. However, this accelerated development has concurrently revealed systemic inefficiencies in asset utilization and outdated maintenance protocols for critical infrastructure. To address the dual imperatives of operational reliability and fiscal responsibility in power transmission systems, this research develops a comprehensive decision-making framework integrating real-time performance evaluation with lifecycle cost modeling for power transformers. The proposed methodology offers actionable insights for optimizing equipment maintenance strategies and budgetary allocation in utility management.
