An Exploration of Various Mmwave Bands for Indoor Localization Using 3D Insite Simulator

A significant impact on the improvement of network coverage, operation, development, and administration is exerted by the process of determining the most appropriate locations for the deployment of Access Points (APs) in indoor wireless communication networks. During the process of creating such networks, the amount of access points (APs) had to be taken into consideration, as well as their positioning. Concerning the mmWave bands of (28, 39, 60, and 73) GHz, this paper studies the characteristics of multipath propagation. For this study, we are concentrating on aspects such as delay spread, path loss, and received power. By obtaining the permittivity and conductivity values for each material, an evaluation of the influence of construction materials has been carried out.
