Eye-Controlled Interactive Patient Response System using Computer Vision

This Study, Eye-Controlled Interactive Patient Response System Using Computer Vision, presents a revolutionary method that allows patients with physical disabilities to use gaze-based cursor selection and navigation to answer questions. The technology guarantees smooth, nonverbal communication by utilizing real-time facial landmark identification and computer vision algorithms, improving accessibility in healthcare settings. Patients with significant mobility limitations may not benefit from traditional assistive communication devices, which rely on physical buttons, joysticks, or voice recognition. Furthermore, many consumers cannot afford or use the current eye-tracking solutions because they require specialized hardware. By tracking eye movements using a normal camera and removing the need for extra gear, our suggested approach gets over these restrictions. MediaPipe is integrated into the system.
