An Intelligent Traffic Signal Announcement System with Automatic Emergency Lane Control

In our nation, managing traffic signals has become a tragic process. Additionally, it can be quite challenging when a fire truck or ambulance approaches a traffic signal. Furthermore, every lane in a traffic signal uses the same announcement mechanism under the current arrangement. Therefore, it will be inconvenient when a traffic cop gives a lane-specific command that could confuse drivers in other lanes. Despite several technological developments, delivering an efficient and effective traffic control system for motorists remains a complex endeavour. This proposed technique involves an intelligent public announcement system for specific lanes, equipped with RF remote controls and emergency exits for emergency vehicles, including ambulances and fire trucks. This proposed technique will resolve the issue by implementing an intelligent announcement system utilising RF remote technology to deliver effective notifications, hence mitigating confusion among adjacent lane motorists. The suggested approach enhances the efficient management of lane control during the entry of emergency vehicles into the traffic signal zone. Hence, proposed technique would eliminate misunderstanding among motorists when in traffic signal when they are in the traffic signal and also It will provide the optimized way for emergency vehicles like ambulance and fire trucks even in a peak traffic hour by giving smart emergency exit door system.
