Guardian Veil: Fortifying IoT Locking Systems with CNN Embedded QR Codes and Signal Sorcery

With the rise of IoT-driven locking mechanisms, integrating advanced technologies like steganography, QR codes, and embedded systems presents a promising avenue for strengthening digital-physical security. This paper introduces a unique framework that mitigates common vulnerabilities in conventional locks by encrypting user credentials and concealing them within images using steganographic techniques. An encrypted QR code containing the user’s data is generated and authenticated through a microcontroller and used to activate a servomotor-based locking mechanism. This design enhances privacy by hiding sensitive data within ordinary-looking images, reducing the risk of credential theft or duplication. QR-based verification also adds a layer of accessibility without compromising security, particularly in scenarios where traditional access systems are insufficient. By integrating embedded control with physical lock hardware, the system ensures secure and reliable entry management. Future work will aim to refine the steganographic encoding process, expand system scalability, and improve real-time responsiveness and error handling to support broader deployment.
