Innovative Glove for Partially Paralyzed People

This paper introduces an innovative glove for partially paralyzed, it helps individuals with partial paralysis to express their needs in the daily life. As their paralyses make everyday tasks a struggle, so the glove is very useful to express their needs. The glove incorporates touch sensors, microcontrollers, and actuators to detect and record physical touch, pressure variations. By using the touch sensors, the glove captures physical gesture or contact. It provides real time health monitoring data, and it uploads to Arduino IoT Cloud. The signals are processed by a microcontroller that interprets the user’s intentions and activates the glove’s actuators to assist with movement. Not only health updates, but the user needs are also analyzed by physical contact on touch sensors and messages are sent to the caretaker or the family member. The glove can be designed with comfort and portability making it lightweight and suitable for all-day wear. It is designed to fit every individual who is suffering with paralyses. An integrated emergency warning system adds an extra layer of safety for the users. In case of an emergency, users can easily send pre-programmed signals as a message, the emergency message is sent by the care taker/family member along with the call.
