Estimation of Coverage distance in Milli-Meter wave Communications

In this article estimation of various parametersare presented for various scenarios in 3GPP. The 5GNR path loss model is used for evaluating the path loss for Umi LOS and Umi NLOS Scenarios. The maximum coverage distance is calculated using the 5GNR path loss model. The efficiency of channel is depends upon the path loss, loss probability. Path loss should be as minimum as possible. The MATLAB software is used for evaluating all the parameters. The path loss is improved and ranges from 30 dB to 80 dBfor the Umi LOS scenario. The path loss is 93 dB to 140 db for the Umi NLOS scenario. The coverage distance is enhanced for 3GPPand it has maximum coverage distance of 1150 meter. The Directivity of rectangular phase array antenna is ranging from -25 to 25 dbi. All the results were calculated for 28 GHz frequency.
