Design of Hospital Bed Call System Based on Embedded Platform and NRF24L01 Wireless Communication

To improve the efficiency of patient calls and the quality of medical services in hospital wards, this paper proposes a design scheme for a bed call system based on an embedded platform and NRF24L01 wireless communication module. The system consists of a bedside call terminal and a nurse station receiver, which enables real-time wireless transmission of information between patients and medical staff. The hardware part integrates independent call buttons, LED status indicators, buzzer alarms, and LCD1602 LCD displays, which can provide intuitive feedback on call and response status. The software architecture adopts modular design, which realizes efficient key detection, data transmission and reception, alarm prompt, and reset management. The experimental results show that the system has stable wireless communication capability, fast response speed, high reliability, and can accurately transmit patient calls and process information in the ward environment. This scheme has a simple structure, low cost, easy maintenance and expansion, and is suitable for the information upgrade of modern hospital wards.
