A Digital Modeling Method for Flexible Cables in Virtual Environment

This paper delves into the typical characteristics of cable routing in aerospace products and proposes a digital cable model based on these characteristics. The model aims to comprehensively represent the physical shape, topological network, and wiring relationships of cables, while also reflecting their flexible characteristics to ensure good interactivity during modifications. It efficiently completes tasks like creation, interactive modification, and data management through convenient operation methods. It also possesses universality via a unified data interface and standardized data structure. Through application examples, the model has been verified to effectively support virtual wiring design and resolve issues related to scattered wiring information.
