Research on the Method of Tongue Image Shooting Based on a Standardized Environment

This research focuses on the key issues in the tongue image shooting process of intelligent tongue diagnosis, and proposes a tongue image shooting method based on a standardized environment. In response to the problems of unstable ambient light and high costs of professional tongue image shooting devices, the key technologies for tongue image shooting are disassembled. By optimizing key factors such as the type and shape of the shooting light source, a light source system that can achieve the best lighting conditions for tongue diagnosis is designed. This study found that the most ideal lighting conditions for tongue diagnosis can be obtained by using light emitting diodes to simulate a color temperature of (5313 ± 43.6) K and an illuminance of (3057 ± 314) Lx. A single-lens reflex camera with a ring-shaped light source, an aperture of F11, an ISO of 100, a shutter speed of 1/80 s, and a focal length of 50 mm is used to shoot tongue images, with a shooting accuracy of 0.103 mm, reaching the limit of human eye resolution. On the premise of cost control, the quality of tongue image shooting is effectively improved, providing reliable data support for the accurate diagnosis of subsequent intelligent tongue diagnosis systems.
