Research on a VR Multiplayer Collaborative Fire Disaster Simulation Training System Based on FDS

In response to the issues in virtual reality (VR) disaster scenario design, such as inconsistency with fluid mechanics principles and insufficient multiplayer collaboration, this paper employs Fire Dynamics Simulation (FDS) analysis. By integrating quantitative parameters, including temperature and smoke diffusion data, into VR scenarios, we construct disaster environments that adhere to mechanical laws. Utilizing a mechanism of frame and time synchronization, we established a multi-level and multiplayer collaborative training system with a client-server architecture. A dynamic evaluation system, encompassing various dimensions such as operational steps and action accuracy, has been proposed to achieve a comprehensive assessment of training effects through data collection. This research has realized the deep integration of digital information with fire emergency drills. The constructed virtual scenarios can truly present the development process of fire. The developed collaborative training and evaluation system provides effective solutions for digital training in fire rescue, which is of great significance for improving the tactical level and practical combat capabilities of fire rescue operations.
