Design and Implementation of Vehicle Door Opening Anti-Collision Module Based on Millimeter Wave Radar

With the rapid development of automobile intelligentization and the increase in automobile ownership, people have put forward higher requirements for vehicle safety and comfort. In this paper, millimeter-wave radar is adopted as a detection sensor to detect obstruction information in front of the car door when the user opens it. This prevents the automatic door from hitting roadside obstacles or pedestrians after opening, thus avoiding accidents and potential economic losses for users. Experimental tests have shown that the millimeter-wave radar door-opening anti-collision module designed in this paper boasts high convenience and good stability, providing users with a safer and more comfortable experience when riding in vehicles.
