Smart Lightning System for Polyhouse with Environmental Monitoring

In order to optimize plant development circumstances, this research introduces an Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled smart lighting solution for polyhouses that integrates several environmental sensors. To track environmental data in real time, the system makes use of sensors for temperature, fire detection, pH level, and soil moisture. The system uses PWM-based control to dynamically alter LED grow lights depending on the data gathered, improving energy efficiency and guaranteeing the best possible illumination for plant growth. For data processing and Internet of Things connectivity, the suggested concept makes use of microcontrollers like Arduino and ESP32, allowing for remote automation and monitoring. This method increases polyhouse farming's practical efficiency and safety while simultaneously improving crop productivity and resource management.
