Improved Control Approaches for Front End Converter in BLDC Motor Driven EV Application

This paper explores advanced control strategies for front-end converters in Brushless DC (BLDC) motor-driven electric vehicles (EVs), focusing on a comparative analysis of PI and Fuzzy control for front end Zeta sepic Converter. The study aims to boost the functionality and efficiency of front-end converter circuits, which are crucial for effective power management in EVs. In this paper gives details implementation of PI and Fuzzy Logic Controllers to Zeta-Sepic converter, emphasizing their advantages and limitations. The PI controller is recognized for its simplicity, while the Fuzzy Logic Controller offers better adaptability. Using MATLAB simulation both control strategies is conducted, measuring key performance indicators such as power factor and total harmonic distortion (THD). Results indicate that the Fuzzy Logic Controller outperforms the PI controller, particularly in dynamic response during transient conditions. Proposed system analyzed and result is Validate using MATLAB Simulink.
