Gender Matters: Bringing Women's Voices Into Environmental Policy Using AI-Driven Approaches

Including women and their opinions in the formulation of environmental policies will greatly help in the realization of sustainable development goals and the proper handling of environmental issues. This paper aims to understand how the involvements of women affect environmental policy along with AI-driven approaches. In India shows how women's activism has brought about drastic changes into environmental policies. The use of literature, arts, and technology in championing women as well as how these forms of tools can be used to strengthen women in their endeavor to fight environmental degradation is also touched on. Various concrete measures for policy improvements in gender mainstreaming are suggested, including policy development, the use of representation quotas, and gender-sensitive budgeting. The paper is also highly relevant for community participation initiatives, grassroots organizations, capacity development for women's roles in environmental governance and integration of AI in such studies.
