IntelliSort: An AI-Powered Resume Query, Searching, and Sorting Tool

The recruitment process has come a long way, and it is evident that the number of jobseekers applying for any vacancy has increased tremendously leaving challenges such as how their resumes are managed and how the best candidates are able to pass the various selection tests. In this paper, we present IntelliSort, a novel assistant which employs AI methods for more efficient resume sorting and querying. IntelliSort employs powerful Natural Language Processing (NLP), machine learning, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), and vector-based search to overcome issues related to poor efficacy and low precision associated with manual resume screening. The system embedded the break-through models such as the Huggingface Embedding for the vector representation and the Google’s Generative AI for the interactive query. This paper details the working concept of IntelliSort, its deployment, potential impact to the recruitment industry and fast candidate selection and processes. From this paper, we propose how various milestones prejudice the attainment of a new dimension in recruitment, highlighting Technical progress in IntelliSort-geared recruitment technology import.
