The Development of Electrical Instrument for Demonstrating in Electric Circuit

This paper presents the development of the electrical measurement instrument set for circuit demonstrations intended to use by instructors and student teachers. The developed instrument is designed to be controlled by a microcontroller and features a web-based display using Anto.io, facilitating ease of use and flexibility for various types of electrical circuits being tested. The system can measure direct current (DC) electrical power in the range of $0.28-4,000$ watts, with a voltage range of $7-200$ volts and current from $0.04-20$ amperes. Additionally, it can measure alternating current (AC) electrical power from 16-4,800 watts, with a voltage range of $80-250$ volts and current from $0.2-20$ amperes, maintaining a measurement error margin not exceeding $\pm 5 \%$. The developed instrument includes a power measurement unit and a user manual, with measurement data accessible through a web interface. The suitability assessment by experts resulted in an average score of 4.74, indicating a high level of appropriateness. Furthermore, user satisfaction evaluations yielded an average score of 4.73, reflecting a high level of user satisfaction. The study’s findings suggest that the developed instrument can be effectively utilized in educational institutions, enhancing the efficiency of teaching and learning in electrical engineering.
