Enhancing Noise Reduction in Quadrature Amplitude Modulation Receivers Through Advanced Circuit Design

Wireless communication is experiencing exponential growth, driven by the increasing adoption of mobile devices and the Internet of Things (IoT). One of the biggest challenges in achieving reliable, high-speed data transmission is the effect of noise on transmitted signals. This research paper introduces a novel circuit designed to mitigate noise, positioned between the front-end and demodulation stages of a Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) receiver. The circuit’s effectiveness has been validated through rigorous MATLAB Simulink simulations across various signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) values and operating under an Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel. The results demonstrate a significant enhancement in signal integrity, with noise reduction reaching up to 100 dB, which leads to increased SNR, improved reliability, extended coverage area, and enhanced power efficiency. Furthermore, since this method relies solely on hardware, it requires no computing power, resulting in minimal latency and complexity, which are critical factors for many wireless applications. These advantages make this approach highly effective for optimizing wireless communication performance, including 6G and beyond.
