The Application of High-Voltage Cable Laying Technology in Urban Power Engineering

Under the backdrop of the rapid development of urban power engineering construction, the rationality and safety of high-voltage cable laying technology directly affect the stability of power grid operation and project costs. Currently, cable laying is constrained by complex construction environments, diverse cable types, and strict laying requirements, making it imperative to systematically study suitable technical solutions. This paper focuses on high-voltage cables, analyzes core technologies such as underground laying (including conduit laying and direct burial), overhead transformation, indoor building layout, and cable termination installation, and combines construction processes such as path planning, trenching, and concrete pouring to propose a quality control system that strengthens construction organization and coordination, raises review standards, and optimizes laying environments. Research shows that differentiated laying technologies can effectively address urban space limitations and geological condition variations. Among them, conduit laying enhances cable protection performance, direct burial reduces long-distance construction costs, and overhead transformation technology overcomes the safety bottlenecks of traditional lines. This study provides a technical path for the efficient laying of high-voltage cables in urban power engineering, and has practical value for ensuring the long-term stable operation of power grids and adapting to the demands of new urbanization construction.
