Information System for Saving and Loan Cooperative in Indonesia

Most savings and loan cooperatives in Indonesia are traditional and thus record their financial data manually without a digital system. They are prone to human error and the managerial process can be time-consuming. Some digital systems (or applications) have been developed but focused on particular cooperatives. This study presents an information system that could be applied to many cooperatives in general as part of supporting digital transformation. The system was named Sikopikeun and developed with the help of Unified Modeling Language (UML) and object-oriented design. Sikopikeun is developed as a web application with PHP as the programming language and SQL as the database query language. The application has been evaluated with black-box testing (functional testing) and all of the features work well.
