FEARLESS: Women Safety Software

Many reports highlight the challenges women face when traveling alone or navigating public areas, making women's safety a top priority on a global scale. This research paper introduces FEARLESS, a mobile application that provides a wide range of features, such as real-time location tracking, safest-route finder, and an emergency alert system that is activated by triple-clicking the power button, all aimed at improving women's safety. FEARLESS empowers women with actionable information and quick emergency response options by utilizing safety statistics, real-time traffic and news updates, and an intuitive user interface design. The efficacy of these features in directing safer paths and offering a dependable SOS system is evident from preliminary user testing results. According to the study's results, FEARLESS's integrated approach fills important safety gaps and provides a scalable blueprint for future development and implementation in cities beyond Pune.
