Channel Estimation and Data Detection in MIMOSCMA Systems Based on the Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers (ADMM)

In this paper, we propose a signal detection algorithm based on ADMM and channel sparsity, with the aim of achieving an optimal balance between the performance and complexity of MIMO-SCMA systems. The algorithm transforms the joint estimation of the channel and detection of data into an optimisation problem, thereby reducing the complexity of the system while maintaining high performance. The simulation results demonstrate that the bit error rate of this algorithm is superior to that of JMPA under diverse SNR conditions. This study offers a novel perspective on the trade-off problem inherent to MIMO-SCMA systems, thereby facilitating the advancement of mobile communication technology. The method does not require predefined codebook information, greatly simplifying the processing complexity at the receiver side, and it demonstrates strong adaptability and robustness.
