Research on Optimal Design of a Surface Mount Permanent Magnet Servo Motor

At present, the servo motor is widely used in the field of light industry production, and the performance requirements of the motor are becoming higher and higher, so the optimization design is very important. Firstly, a servo permanent magnet synchronous motor is taken as the research object, with rated power 1500W, rated current 7.5A, rated speed 3000r/min and rated torque 4.8N.m as the main design indicators. In order to design a permanent magnet synchronous motor with stable performance and small vibration and noise, the initial 2D finite element model was established based on Ansys Maxwell software. By adjusting the tooth yoke width, the rationality of stator magnetic density design was ensured, and the embrace, offset and other parameters of permanent magnet were optimized and analyzed. Based on the premise that the output torque meets the output requirement, and the no-load back potential harmonic content, slot torque and torque fluctuation as the evaluation basis, the final analysis and comparison show that the optimized electromagnetic design scheme increases the output torque by 8.9% and reduces the torque fluctuation by 79%, with remarkable effect. As a research result, the design idea and optimization method of this scheme provide a reference for the subsequent design and research of servo permanent magnet synchronous motor.
