Research on the Angular Displacement Sensor System of Electric Vehicle Motor Rotor

With the advancement of the position servo system of new energy vehicles, the angular displacement sensor, as an indispensable feedback element in the motor closed-loop control system, also needs to be upgraded accordingly. This paper proposes a new electric vehicle motor rotor angular displacement sensor system, studies the sensor measurement method, establishes a mathematical model of coil coupling, designs the sensor structure, conducts theoretical simulation, and develops a prototype for experimental testing. The results show that the measurement error meets the established accuracy standards. Compared with the traditional eddy current sensor, the sensor innovatively adopts three-phase signal output in the structural configuration, which significantly improves the linearity and sensitivity of the sensor. In addition, by optimizing the signal processing method, the influence of common mode and asymmetric signals is successfully weakened, thereby improving the anti-interference ability of the sensor. This study also proves the practical effectiveness of the eddy current effect, solves the research gap in its application under dynamic conditions, and provides support for the continued development of high-precision angular displacement sensors for new energy vehicles.
