Analysis Method for Maximum Voltage Phase Deviation on Both Sides of the Loop Closure Point in a Radial Overhead Distribution Network

During the ring closing operation of a radial distribution network, due to the fact that the power sources on both sides of the ring closing point are usually in separate operation, the superior power sources need to be kept parallel. Therefore, there will be voltage and phase differences during the ring closing process, which will affect the safety and stability of the ring closing. Therefore, this article explores the analysis method of the maximum deviation of voltage and phase on both sides of the ring closing point in a radial overhead distribution network during the ring closing operation. Firstly, the main reasons for the generation of loop closing current were analyzed, including the voltage difference (numerical difference, phase difference) between the 10kV busbars on both sides of the loop closing switch and the difference in short-circuit impedance of the system caused by different busbars. Secondly, according to the grid planning of the distribution network, the circuit components are selected and rated to achieve overall load prediction of the line and complete the reconstruction operation of the multi distribution network line environment. Finally, the voltage fluctuations on both sides of the loop closure point of the distribution network are discussed, and the factors affecting the power and current of the connection switch after loop closure are explored, including the voltage difference, phase difference, and impedance of the loop line at both ends of the loop closure point. The maximum deviation range of voltage phase and magnitude was obtained through simulation analysis, laying the foundation for solving the loop closure problem.
