Research on Schedule Optimization of Information System Project Based on Genetic Algorithm

With the increasing complexity of information system projects, efficient schedule management is very important. This study focuses on the genetic algorithm based information system project schedule optimization, points out the key significance of information system project schedule management for successful project delivery and cost control, and analyzes the limitations of traditional methods in the face of complex projects, which are difficult to find the global optimal solution. This paper constructs an optimization model with resource constraints and activity logic, designs adaptive genetic algorithm, uses literature and case analysis method, takes an enterprise ERP system project as an example, collects data and solves it by genetic algorithm. The results show that the algorithm can effectively shorten the project duration, optimize resource allocation, and improve the efficiency of project schedule management. At the same time, it summarizes the shortcomings, points out the direction for subsequent multi-objective optimization and other research, and helps the development of information system project management practice and theory.
