Multi-channel redundant switching high-speed measurement method

According to the requirements of the Metrology Law and various management standards, current transformers, as legally mandatory measuring instruments, must undergo periodic verification or calibration. The current transformer calibrator, a specialized device for verifying or calibrating current transformers, traditionally relies on manual zero adjustment or software-controlled automatic zero adjustment to complete the calibration process. In practical applications, these methods are subject to measurement errors caused by differences in the characteristics of different channel circuits, including fixed gain error differences and inter-channel phase differences. These errors are added to the measurement results of the current transformer, affecting calibration accuracy. To address these issues, this paper proposes a dual-channel measurement method and device to effectively mitigate the measurement bias caused by inconsistent module dual-channel gain, significantly improving measurement accuracy. The research results demonstrate that this method has significant practical value in the verification and calibration of current transformers.
