Design of a Multipurpose Communicable Handglove Based on Navigation Tools and Microcontroller Unit

This paper presents a cost-effective, wearable handglove designed to assist in rescuing victims during natural disasters. The handglove enables users to send predefined short messages and share their precise location with the control room, facilitating quick and efficient rescue operations. The device integrates a GPS module, ensuring accurate location tracking, along with a 4-way capacitive keypad for easy communication without typing. Additional sensors, such as a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) for controlling light intensity, further enhance the handglove's functionality. Powered by a microcontroller and designed to be compact and user-friendly, this innovative handglove offers a simple and effective solution for informing rescuers about the victim's urgent needs and location. The system's ease of use, low power consumption, and reliable communication capabilities make it an invaluable tool for enhancing the efficiency of rescue operations in disaster-stricken areas.
