Implementation of Cryptographic Architecture for Secure Data Transmission using Reversible Logic Gates

Ensuring secure data transmission is crucial for protecting sensitive information in modern communication systems. Traditional cryptographic methods rely on irreversible operations, which dissipate energy and limit efficiency. Reversible Logic Gates Cryptography Design (RLGCD) with Linear Feedback Shift Register (LFSR) offers a promising alternative by ensuring bijective, energy-efficient encryption and decryption. In this approach, the LFSR is used to generate a random key, which, along with reversible logic gates, encodes the plaintext into a cipher text. This cipher text can be securely transmitted, and reversible operations ensure that the original plaintext is retrieved upon decryption with minimal energy loss. .Also we compared the MSE,PSNR,SSIM values of both Encrypted and Decrypted images. Key components include designing reversible circuits for encryption and decryption, minimizing energy consumption, and ensuring data integrity during transmission. The study uses reversible logic gates for secure data transmission in order to overcome the problem of excessive power consumption in cryptographic systems. The result demonstrates that this method is appropriate for low-power applications since it lowers energy loss.
